Stakeholders: Dignity for Children Foundation & EPIC
Site: Sentul
Project: Open Garden Design Proposal
Team: RDG Project Director & RCTD Students
Typology: Urban, Education/Recreation

The EPIC team & RDG came alongside to mentor RCTD students in facilitating a proposal to design on an open plot of land for its students & members of the public. Community Engagement is key to building a project that will not only function as intended for the brief, but most importantly give back ownership to the users: being Dignity’s students, teachers, parents & the stakeholders of the neighborhood.

It was a fulfilling project that envisions a play function that takes in consideration the practicalities inherent in the site – it being a highly urbanised neighborhood.

The project runs for 6 weeks. The outcomes of the project has given the Stakeholders a visual, buildable idea of the possible functions that may be used on the underutilized land. One that may be a safe place of playing, waiting & engaging for its community.
